I’m uploading two readings for this Friday, both by Gilles Deleuze.
1) “Desert Islands” essay from “Desert Islands and other texts” (page 9 – 14).
2) “Immanence: A Life” essay from Pure Immanence.
Reading Deleuze can be both frustrating and invigorating. If you don’t understand something simply push forward. These are both short essays, so I would recommend reading them early in the week and then returning to them before class.
