FAQ

How do I attend class?

Logged in users can click their own name in the top right hand side of the website on desktop computers, or open the menu in the top right header on mobile devices and click their name there to see a listing of registered classes. You can also go to http://classroom.ruthstonehouse.org/my-account to view your classes. If they are not showing up there, please email us using this page.

At that point you can simply click the class name to visit the class page where links to live streaming, class materials/syllabus etc are listed. 

When is my class happening?

Access your specific class page by clicking your own name/username in the top right of the website or by opening the mobile menu, then click your class name to see dates and times. Times are also listed in your registration email.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds are available by request up to two weeks prior to class. Please contact us for more information using the form on this page.

How do you protect students/instructors?

All students and instructors have agreed to our code of conduct (click here to view). Infractions will be taken seriously. Ruth Stone House is committed to a safe and open community. Tolerance is not enough. CONTACT US to report violations of our COC. 

How will my personal information be used?

How do virtual classes work?

Ruth Stone House Classroom uses Zoom for live classes, although we may use a different service if there is an interruption to Zoom service. Learn more about Zoom here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us

Each class has its own class page on our site, accessable through YOUR ACCOUNT containing classroom materials, student uploads, etc. Use of these tools is entirely upon the instructor’s discretion. Each class may be very different.
